Our product
Our digital platform goes beyond traditional filters, providing key insights to optimize performance, reduced costs, and enhance environmental compliance. With a focus on connectivity, our OTC program spans cloud and gateway development, operations, and support, uniting industrial equipment seamlessly. Currently, our IoT-platform boasts a substantial client base and 15+ persons working with Nederman OTC. Looking ahead, we aim to standardize and transition from AWS to Cumulocity and expanding our in-house team with more skilled professionals. Our strategic goals include developing an on-prem IoT solution, connecting diverse industrial applications, and delivering on new platforms.
What you will do
As our Backend Developer, you will play an important role in contributing to cutting-edge technology and innovation. You will work on developing new products deployed at-scale in our customers facilities, utilizing containerization and orchestration and in our cloud-based platform leveraging technologies such as micro-services and time-series databases. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to have a high impact on the end-to-end architecture of our entire tech-stack and work with various parts of the IoT-platform. Key tasks include:
- Cross-functional work to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining databases and applications, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to identify and address any issues
- Engage in pair programming practices, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing code quality
- Be involved in every stage of the development life cycle, from conceptualization and design to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Apply Agile methodologies, particurlary Scrum, to manage projects efficiently, ensuring iterative development, adaptability to change, and timely delivery.
We believe you have
We are looking for someone with several years of experience of working with back-end technologies in Linux-environment and knowledge of programming languages e.g. C#, and Rust. You should have experience working broadly with CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud services and building APIs with Node.js for example. Your educational background is not a prerequisite as we are looking for an individual who is curious, with an innate motivation to delve into various technologies stacks. For this role, you need to have strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.
