YOU WILL
As Production Team Lead you are responsible for supporting in overseeing the entire production process at the Demo plant, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with production targets and company standards. This role involves managing staff and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement in the production line. You will report to our Production Manager. Your daily work will be varied, and your assignments will be to:
- Support our production manager in managing the Demo plant production to meet set targets and objectives.
- Participate in the work to develop strategies that improve fiber quality, increase production output, and reduce production costs and labor requirements.
- Lead, coach, and support a team of process operators. Manage daily shift handovers, assigning tasks and responsibilities and assist in preparing production schedules and budgets.
- Cultivate an environment of peer-to-peer empowerment, encouraging team members to take ownership of their projects and collaborate effectively.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to diagnose and resolve production line issues, providing recommendations and training as needed.
- Identify, document, and report any unsafe practices to maintain a culture of safety and compliance.
- Analyze all aspects of production and recommend improvements to optimize process performance.
YOU ARE
To be successful in this position, you have significant experience in managing a production environment, preferably within the process industry. You have expertise in production process management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and quality. You also have an advanced degree in technology, engineering, or a related field. Experience or interest for production of sustainable materials is an advantage.
As a person you have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve production and process development goals. You have a good ability in prioritizing issues and take responsibility for learning and development. You can make fast, considerate and fact-based decisions, even in situations with limited information or difficult circumstances. You communicate clearly and are receptive to others and can adapt your communication to the situation. You thrive at collaboration – you lead, motivate and provide others with the power/mandate required to effectively achieve common goals.

ABOUT TREETOTEXTILE
Swedish-based TreeToTextile drives systemic change in the textile industry by providing the next generation of cellulose fiber for a sustainable planet. Together with our committed owners H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, Lenzing Group and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile is developing a renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fiber with attractive properties and low environmental impact, accessible to everyone. The fiber has the potential to complement or replace parts of the cotton, viscose and polyester markets.
In 2023, the TreeToTextile Demo factory in Nymölla started operation and in June 2024 the first bale of unoptimized fiber was produced. To make the fiber available on a global market, the next step will be to build a flagship factory somewhere in Europe, followed by several super sites globally in the coming years.
TreeToTextile currently has approximately 50 employees. In addition to our own employees, we have a large ecosystem of partners such as strong support from our owners, consultants, development partners, etc.
