Our product

Our digital platform goes beyond traditional filters, providing key insights to optimize performance, reduced costs, and enhance environmental compliance. With a focus on connectivity, our OTC program spans cloud and gateway development, operations, and support, uniting industrial equipment seamlessly. Currently, our IoT-platform boasts a substantial client base and 15+ persons working with Nederman OTC. Looking ahead, we aim to standardize and transition from AWS to Cumulocity and expanding our in-house team with more skilled professionals. Our strategic goals include developing an on-prem IoT solution, connecting diverse industrial applications, and delivering on new platforms.

What you will do

As a Frontend Developer in our team, you will play an important role in contributing to cutting-edge technology and innovation. You will work on developing new products that work across mobile apps, industrial HMIs and browsers, leveraging modern web-frameworks and technologies. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to set company-wide standards in terms of ways-of-working, technologies employed and usability paradigms. Key tasks include:

• Cross-functional work to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.
• Developing and managing well-functioning applications for a dynamic and responsive user interface.
• Contribute to the testing phase to ensure the robustness and quality of the applications.
• Engage in pair programming practices, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing code quality
• Utilizing modern web framworks to create responsive web-based applications, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Apply Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage projects efficiently, ensuring iterative development, adaptability to change, and timely delivery.

We believe you have

We are looking for someone with several years of experience of working with front-end-related technologies, preferably Angular. Other technologies and tools that we use are Typescript, CSS, NodeJS, JSON, SQLite, MySQL, TimeScale, PostgreSQL. A keen eye towards good UX design is appreciated, but not a must. Your educational background is not a prerequisite as we are looking for an individual who is curious, willing to delve into various technologies and eager to learn. You are not only curious and passionate about agile development but also embrace challenges with a commitment to quality and meeting targets. For this role, you need to have strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.

We are seeking an individual with self-motivation, flexibility, and resilience, committed to growing with the company in a fast-paced and rewarding global environment. A collaborative approach, positive attitude, and strong work ethic are essential. You must be organized and capable of successfully handling multiple requests and tasks. A can-do attitude with a proactive approach to taking ownership is crucial. Additionally, highly effective listening, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
